Save Money- The example gates shown below could have used only one Upswung opener-hinge to clear the driveway and snowfall .

Example 1: A nice gate on an uphill driveway split in the middle. 
Comment: This solution  required two openers and the gates held well off the ground to clear the driveway when swinging - doesn't rise above snowfall.
Extra Cost: This installation required 1 extra opener, gate panel and hinge set over an Upswung installation.

Example 2: Another gate on an uphill driveway split in the middle. 
Comment: This solution  required two openers and gates to clear the driveway when swinging - doesn't rise above snowfall. The gate opens out to solve the uphill driveway clearance- Visitors must exercise caution not to get hit with gates.
